Jet2.com relaunch pushes back two weeks of travel restrictions

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, continuous travel restrictions in place have seen Jet2.com further postpone its return to operations.

The holiday company now plans to restart its schedule of flights and holidays on July 15th.

"The company said in a statement: "Our dedication to working with independent travel agents in collaboration has never been greater, and we are contacting them with a range of customer choices, including rebook options, rebook codes and flexible terms.

All of these super versatile solutions are meant to help agents take care of their clients, and we are very proud of the reviews we have received so far.

"We can assure all agents affected by the announcement that the same level of service will be provided."

Initially, Jet2.com had planned to return on June 17th, which was then moved back to July 1.

We know that there is a lot of pent-up demand for our award-winning holidays, and we can not wait to send clients away again on their well-deserved holidays.

In order to ensure the safety and well-being of those who enjoy our flights and holidays, we are working closely with all relevant authorities and we will implement a variety of safety measures on our aircraft and on our transfer vehicles.

"We are also working closely with the airport, hotel and tourist board partners to ensure the implementation of appropriate measures for health and safety."

Additional information will be released by the company in due course.
